Chiron tuning fork tuned to the frequency of 172.86Hz.

This fork is tuned to the frequency of the Chiron planetoid based on the calculations of the acclaimed musicologist and mathematician Hans Cousto who devised the planetary frequencies of the Cosmic Octave.

Chiron is a minor planet with a major impact from a vibrational point of view. A planetoid (discovered in 1977 between Saturn and Uranus) it is named after the Healer, Philosopher, and Teacher of Greek Mythology, Chiron.

In the Chiron myth, a centaur was abandoned at birth by parents who were disgusted by his appearance. An incurable wound in his leg, combined with the foster fathering of Apollo, the god of healing; set him on a personal journey towards greater wholeness, integrity, and love. As he navigated this way of being he learned to practice the healing arts.

The three archetypes associated with Chiron are – The Wounded healer, the Shaman and the Alchemist.

Working with the Chiron tuning Fork opens an invitation of exploration, of our own personal wounded healer. When listening to this sound we can undertake a journey to reconnect our earthly and heavenly selves. Moving through and beyond the physical wounds and scars that we carry to reunite with our divine origins.

The frequency and vibration of this sound can be felt most strongly in the Throat Chakra and also the area of the Thymus and assists in harmonising and integrating emotional memories.

Each fork comes supplied in a custom felt pouch made by us along with a standard mallet. Included is an insert giving information about the tuning fork frequency and a brief introduction to working with your tuning fork.

This fork works beautifully in combination with the Om Tuning Fork as preparation to receive the frequency and also after clearing the energy field with the Crystal Tuner.

When working with this sound for Shamanic Journeying use the 432Hz fork beforehand to both deepen the journeying process and assist with connection to and receiving messages from your guides.
